My name is Chris Wolfe, and I am the owner of True North Pressure Washing here in Nanaimo.

Just a couple of years ago, I remember days when I did not have a turkey dinner or anyone to sit with at my table.

That is something I have not forgotten.

Since moving to Nanaimo, this city has been incredibly good to me. It has welcomed me, supported my business and given me the opportunity to build a better life. Now I want to give something back to the city that has given me so much.

Through True North Pressure Washing, I have had the chance to work with tonnes of homeowners and families across Nanaimo. Through those conversations, I have noticed that times have been a little tough for a lot of people.

That feeling is all too familiar to me.

This Thanksgiving, I want to help families who may not have the means to put a turkey dinner on the table. I also want to support people who may not have family to cook with or anyone to share that meal with.

That is why we are launching Operation Turkey Drop.

I will personally contribute the first 100 turkey dinners. Our community goal is to provide a total of 500 meals for people across Nanaimo.

Every $100 contributed will provide 10 complete turkey dinners.

Harrison and the team at Real Meals Nanaimo will be preparing the meals locally. Their support allows us to provide fresh, complete dinners that people can take home and enjoy on Thanksgiving.

Whether you contribute one meal, ten meals or simply share this campaign, you are helping make sure someone in our city feels remembered this Thanksgiving.
