As we are all feeling the effects of COVID-19 on our lives at the moment, CUB3D are looking to make the most of this time we are unable to work and be as proactive and helpful as possible.
Our NHS front line workers are in desperate need of all the personal protective equipment they can get their hands on, and due to the current unavailability we have tested printing an open source visor on our 3D printers with very promising results.
What we need from you are donations towards the cost of the raw PLA material to run through our 3D printers, and sheeting to make the visors. We are ready and waiting to invest our time, effort and electricity to run these machines so any amount you can afford is very much appreciated, and is definitely going to a worthy cause.
Lets get our local NHS nurses, doctors and staff the protection they deserve, whilst taking care of our family, friends, neighbours and community members during this difficult time.
