"If you can’t feed a hundred people, then just feed one.” —Mother Teresa

Generosity is giving and showing kindness towards others, especially more than is usual or expected. Catherine Camisa, of Moms Ceramics in Massapequa, NY, certainly showed her generous and selfless heart during the height of the pandemic.

Much like thousands of small business owners, the heart of communities all across the country, Cathy knew she had to close her store to customers, having to sacrifice her only income. Instead of letting her own personal trials get in the way, she figured out how she can do her part, to give back and say thank you.

Cathy took to her ceramics studio and began a project that she never imagined would spread to other states. She staarted her Angels wear scrubs project. She spent countless hours and sleepless nights, making thousands of ceramic angels out of clay, baking them, carving them, painting, glazing, packaging and sending them across the country. With help from her suppliers, and a few great friends, Cathy opened her heart to spread smiles and thanks, in a time when the world, especially health care workers and first responders, were facing devastation. She sent them to hospitals, doctors offices, hotels, fire debt, police stations...all because she wanted to say thanks.

I am writing to you now, thanking you now, to be most generous, and help Catherine Camisa and Moms Ceramics, to stay afloat.

The debt from the rent owed during the months when this small business had to close, is debilitating. I am just one of hundreds of customers who go moms, not just to make memories, but because Cathy cares about her passion and her community. She will probably be upset when she hears this page was started, since she is a very humble person, but I think we should make her good karma come back to her. Any money will help.

Please find it in your heart to donate and help provide smiles for this angel who gave to so,many.

Please donate and share this page. If you or someone you know someone who received an angel, or a FB page to a hospital/ first responders, or if you've been to Moms and know how special it is.to.our community, please help.
