Our Hero Milan

Our dear friend Phoebe and her partner have recently received some devastating news. Their wonderful 5-year-old son, Milan, has been diagnosed with a form of Brain Cancer – Grade 4 Gliobastoma (GBM). This diagnosis is terminal, and as you can only imagine, we are all heartbroken.

This fundraiser is about ensuring Milan has access to all available treatments, be that here in the UK or abroad.

Whilst Milan is currently on a treatment plan covered by the NHS including 6 weeks of radiotherapy and chemotherapy, we are keen to explore alternative methods of treatment that are not available here in the UK.

The alternative method of treatment that we are now pursuing is Immunotherapy. Whilst Immunotherapy is an option for some types of cancer patients in the UK, it is not available to Gliobastomers, and can only be accessed abroad. 

The costs of insurance, travel, accommodation, and treatment are out of reach. Therefore, we are humbly reaching out to raise funds that will cover private clinic costs, so that as a community, we can empower the pursuit of these avenues of treatment, without the worry of any financial burden.
Any money raised will be used towards this cause, and simple days out in between treatments (with his playful 2-year-old brother) to fulfil Milan’s childhood dreams.

We want to see Milan continue to grow, shine and blossom. He is a happy young boy full of love and life, who loves football and his team Chelsea!
