Matthew has always been an amazing person. He’s an amazing father, friend, partner and everything in between. He was always a healthy person until about a week and a half ago, January 24th, 2020. Matthew started fainting throughout the day for unknown reason causing him to fall to the ground and hit his head every single time. Since then, he has hit his head 6-7 times. With no bracing, with no warning, with no one there to catch him. With each fall, Matthews condition has worsened which turned into an inability to care for himself during his normal daily routine. Matthew suffered a lot of brain damage which has caused him to have trouble speaking clearly, he is slow when he talks to you or slurs his words and that’s if he even can in the moment. He can’t walk without help and somedays when walking his legs will give up on him. He loses vision sometimes due to intolerable headaches. He needs help when it comes to living a normal life. Matthew struggles to remember any of the incidents as well as a lot of important people in his life. He has forgotten who his parents are, one of his daughters, many lifelong friends and siblings. He struggles to remember anything from his past and has difficulties telling the days apart. Because of all of this, Matthew’s not able to work when at one point he was the sole provider for our family. All in a matter of days, Matthews health and brain did a complete 180. He’s unable to bond with our newborn daughter. He can not drive. He can’t help around the house with things you’d normally be doing as a parent of multiple kids which leaves me to care for him, 2 kids and everything else. I have to stay home with Matthew majority of the time, which leaves me no choice but to not work as often for the time being. Neither of us working the hours we used to means barely any money coming in to pay our monthly bills, support the kids needs or any current and future medical bills. Life for our family has changed drastically in the matter of a week or two and it’s been the hardest situation we’ve ever been faced with.

At this time we ask for a ton of prayers and support while we face the process of healing and endless doctor appointments.
