Luis Angel Navarro Soto at the young age of 30 was a hard working man who migrated to California seeking to give his wife and daughter(5yrs) a better life. He worked in the farming fields of Lodi, Ca and on weekends played in a musical group with his father as a drummer.
Luis Angel mysteriously went missing on Saturday, August 17th, 2019. He was on his way to an event in Lodi,Ca where he was to play with his musical group, but he never arrived. He told his wife that his car was stuck and his window cracked. His last call left his wife and family worried and desperate to know that he was ok, but no one ever heard from him or saw him again. A missing persons report was filed 24hrs later.
Family and friends desperately searched with high hopes of finding Luis Angel, but could not find him. Days became weeks and then finally a farmer found his car in his field with no sign of Luis Angel in the area.
On his 35th day missing, Luis Angel’s body was finally found in the Mokelumne River east of Lodi. The family is devastated and desperate for answers, but this is still an ongoing investigation.
At the very least, now the family can make peace by putting Luis Angel Navarro Soto’s body to rest. Luis Angel leaves behind his parents, sisters, wife, daughter and many family members and friends.
The family’s wishes are to lay him to rest next to his loving grandparents buried in Mexico. With that said this GoFundMe has been created to raise funds to help cover funeral costs.

Luis Ángel Navarro Soto, a la temprana edad de 30 años, era un hombre muy trabajador que emigró a California buscando darle a su esposa e hija (5 años) una vida mejor. Trabajó de campesino en Lodi, California, y los fines de semana tocaba como baterista en un grupo musical con su padre. Luis Ángel desapareció misteriosamente el sábado 17 de agosto de 2019. Se dirigía a un evento en Lodi, California, donde tocaría con su grupo musical, pero nunca llegó. Le dijo a su esposa que su automóvil estaba atascado y su ventana rota. Su última llamada dejó a su esposa y a su familia preocupados y desesperados por saber que estaba bien, pero nadie volvió a saber de él ni lo volvió a ver. Un reporte de personas desaparecidas se hizo 24 horas después con las autoridades. Familiares y amigos buscaron desesperadamente con grandes esperanzas de encontrar a Luis Angel, pero no pudieron encontrarlo. Los días se convirtieron en semanas y, finalmente, un granjero encontró su automóvil en su campo sin señales de Luis Ángel en el área. Despues de 35 días desaparecido, el cuerpo de Luis Ángel finalmente fue encontrado en el río Mokelumne al este de Lodi. La familia está devastada y desesperada por respuestas, pero esta sigue siendo una investigación en curso. Por lo menos, ahora la familia puede hacer las paces al descansar el cuerpo de Luis Angel Navarro Soto. Luis Angel deja a sus padres, hermanas, esposa, hija y muchos familiares y amigos.
