Our colleague and friend Khuli very sadly lost his life to Covid-19 on the 17th April 2020. He was a fantastic, caring and compassionate mental health nurse with a smile that would light up any room. He wasn't only a mental health nurse and colleague to all of us at the Newsam Centre, he also worked for Cygnet Healthcare and before that for Stockton Hall hospital in York.
Khuli was a husband to Mercey and a father to Natalie, 12 years old, and Nathan, 8 years old.
Khuli was the sole breadwinner to his family so we are fundraising to not only support Khulis family now through these difficult times, but also for the future of his children.
He will be missed by many, he touched the lives of so many people... in his professional capacity as a mental health nurse, as a mentor to student nurses, the Workforce Race Equality Network, the service users he helped and supported, but also as a family man and friend.
All donations will be greatly received to help support his wife and 2 children.
