This GoFundMe page is set up for Lori Willems, who passed away with family by her side on August 12th.
Lori had been fighting breast cancer for the past two years with immense determination and optimism. Sadly, after her continued fight, Lori passed away from liver failure.
We were delighted that Lori was able to return to CT in July to spend quality time with ALL of her children, family, and friends. It was her heart's desire to be in Connecticut, and we were thrilled to make her wish come true. It was a miracle and a blessing, as days before her arrival, she was told she would not be able to make the trip physically.
Lori is now at peace with a restored healthy body and is dancing with Jesus in heaven.
Lori - our mother, daughter, sister, niece, friend, and wife - we miss you deeply and thank you for being part of our lives. you have left us a piece of your beautiful spirit within all of us.
What is needed for the family:
- Financial assistance is needed for Lori's funeral expenses and other expenses such as getting her belonging from KS
