Life With Zac
Donation protected
3 months ago, the world was blessed with the birth of an amazing boy, Zachary Anthony Winter. His extra chromosome makes him extra cute and he is loved more than words can describe by so many in this world.
Although his Mommy (Jennifer) and Daddy (Sean) knew that he would eventually face medical complications at some point in his life, they never could have prepared themselves for what they are facing right now. Zac has undergone 3 surgeries already. Just last Friday, we almost lost this precious boy as he fought for his life during a surgery to repair damage to his intestine. Unfortunately, the damage is irreversible and, although he is stable at this moment, the next 2 weeks are absolutely critical to his survival.
Zac is on the donor list to receive a new intestine. This pulls at his Mommy's and Daddy's heartstrings in an unimaginable way. They are grief stricken to know what has to happen in order for their precious boy to survive.
While Zac is in the best place he could be, Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, his Mommy and Daddy are exhausting themselves in order to be there for him daily and be at home for Zac's older sisters, Alyssa and Kayla. Jennifer cannot work at this time and Sean has missed multiple days in order to be there for his girls, his wife, and his Zac-Man. Although medical costs are not their issue right now, the cost of living has them struggling financially. Driving back and forth to CHOP from their home in Quakertown, PA is causing wear and tear on their vehicle and the cost of gas is making it very difficult. We am reaching out to everyone to please donate to this account so they can have some relief financially and, therefore, focus on Zac and helping him heal. And if you are unable to donate, please put Zac in your daily prayers. We believe in the power of prayer and know that will help Zac get better.
