Help get our boys home!!

At 28 weeks pregnant we had a standard growth scan it revealed something was wrong. We were already 2.5 hours from home and we had 30 minutes to sort out things back home before we were flown to Melbourne with just the clothes on our back….

Fast forward 3 weeks of already having to stay here and our twins arrived with complications. Jasper was already unwell with nutrition lacking in the womb and we soon found out he had a collapsed bowel that needed life saving surgery. Aiden was following suite but thankfully avoided surgery at the time. They have had lots of ups & downs since. Aiden has now taken a few steps back and is needing surgery himself. They still have a long road ahead each.

We have now been here 13 weeks the boys are 10 weeks old and NICU is the most lonely place in the world. Until you have been there you just can’t begin to comprehend the strain that it becomes.

Mentally & Physically we are exhausted. Emotionally we are taking punch after punch everyday. Things don’t let up. Financially we are done! We have exhausted every cent we have to our name and just because we are here the bills don’t stop at home. We are supporting 4 other children as well. We have current as well as new financial burdens. plus we need to start thinking of our transition home which at this point isn’t until at least the end of February.

I guess what we are asking as our last hope is that we need help!! Help keep a roof over our head so we all have a home to come back to, the medical costs we will face & help with the transition home so we can be with our boys without the stress of pushing ourselves back into full time work straight away….

Anything would be a help!!! It will be truly appreciated!!!
