Kalani Ball

Scarborough Boardriders is proud to launch this fundraiser for our long term member Kalani Ball to help fund his campaign to get onto the world surfing tour in 2023. Kalani finished 2nd overall in our region's 2022 World Qualifying Series, thus qualifying for the World Challenger Series.

Kalani will now travel to eight events across the globe, competing against 95 other men for a chance to qualify for the World Championship Tour. The first two events are in Australia over May on the Gold Coast and then Sydney. After that Kalani jets off to South Africa, California, Portugal, France, Brazil and finishing up in Hawaii late November. Kalani will base himself on the Gold Coast near the High Performance Centre on the NSW north coast to focus and train between each event.

To assist Kalani meet the giant costs involved with all this travel and training, Scarborough Boardriders Club is proudly hosting this GoFundMe webpage for the club and local community to chip in and support Kalani. Our region has never had a surfer qualify for the world surfing tour and Kalani has dedicated his entire life to this goal. Please get on board and we wish Kalani all the best in each of these events and safe travels.
