Kailend COVID-19 Food Relief

I would like to introduce you to an organisation and a project that is close to my heart...


With your help I would like to support Kailend - a dynamic, forward-thinking charitable social enterprise, registered as a non-profit organisation in Agou, Togo, West Africa. I have been volunteering with Kailend since 2017 after I solo-travelled there for 2 weeks to learn more about what they do.

Since then I have continued to support their sustainable agriculture work on a five-hectare farm that produces organic fruit, vegetables and poultry products to provide scholarships/vocational training opportunities for women and low-income youth from rural communities and inner-city slums.

At present, these communities require essential food supplies which are becoming harder to distribute and deliver due to rising food and transport costs during the pandemic. Supplies are falling short but we know that together we can provide for them so we can conquer this worldwide crisis. The money raised in this fundraiser will go to acquiring and distributing the essential food supplies that are urgently required at this time.

Sammy (Kailend's Founder) has worked tirelessly to create and maintain a flourishing organisation that has achieved so much over the past 3 years that I've known him - but right now I'd like us to contribute to its future by giving whatever we can today. Every donation matters more than ever before to ensure that none of Kailend's communities are left without food because of COVID-19.
