Josh Henderson is dancing for UNISON welfare!

Josh Henderson, Communications Officer at UNISON NHS Glasgow Clyde & CVS branch is raising money for UNISON's Welfare Charity "There For You", by hitting the ballroom dancefloor on Saturday 7th June 2025 and dancing in front of hundreds of onlookers.

For "Step Up For Charity 2025", Josh will be partnered up with a professional dancer, who over the course of 10-12 weeks will coach him to perform a routine on the night, a la Strictly Come Dancing!

Self-admittedly, Josh's dance skills range between non-existent to embarrassing, so he's really excited give it his all, come what may!

Josh said: "To be honest I'm still reeling that I've been roped into this and I'm nervous, but I promise our members and our branch that I'll give it 100% whatever the case. If this ends a disaster, at least everyone will get a right laugh at my expense! In seriousness though, I'm really privileged to do this and hope to raise as much as I can for a brilliant cause."

There For You supports Unison members right up and down the UK who are in difficult times. Now more than ever, There For You is seeing unprecedented referrals for people who are in-work and can't make ends meet. Many of our Branch members have benefited from the charity and have been helped out of financial despair. Quite simply there has never been a more important time for the work this charity does.

Our branch always gives generously to There For You, bit Josh is taking the plunge, getting his tap shoes on and "Stepping Up"!

And before anyone asks, yes - it will be filmed!
