I am raising funds to help me recover the rest of my mother’s remains so I can finally lay her to rest with dignity.

My mom, Jamie MacDonald, was found deceased in a Florida creek. Her case was ruled a homicide, yet many of her bones were never recovered or even documented. I have been left to do the work that should have been done from the beginning — searching the water, the silt, and the surrounding land. I have invested everything I have into recovery equipment and learning water recovery techniques.

I’m doing this because she deserves to be whole.

She deserves respect.

She deserves to come home.

I will not leave her lost.

This fundraiser will help cover travel costs, search equipment, recovery efforts, and expenses. Every contribution helps me continue a mission I never should have had to start. I live in Kentucky and have to plan each recovery trip carefully.

If I have any remaining donations leftover after my recovery expenses, I will donate them to WATE (We are the essentials) A nonprofit that has helped aid me in the recovery of my mom, more than once. They have been in the water and helped recover many bones.
