Bring Glass Shark to Burning Man 2022!

Hi, my name is Peter Hazel, and I am a glass, steel and ceramic artist based in Reno NV. I have been making large sculptures for Burning Man and beyond for over 10 years. For this year's project, my team of volunteers and I are making a 25 foot long shark made of thick glass sections and connected with a steel frame. The entire piece will be illuminated from the inside by multi-color LEDs, making this beautiful piece to be enjoyed both during the day or night.

Burning Man projects like these would not be possible without the generous donations from donors like you. We would appreciate any donations big or small and are also looking for volunteers to help build if you or know anyone living in the Reno NV area. The funds will be used to purchase building materials like glass, steel and LEDs. We also need funds for supplementary materials like welding wire, cleaning supplies, plaster molds, and personal protective equipment for the volunteers. There is always a huge cost associated with transportation, and any help would be greatly appreciated.
