Remembering Calvin: Supporting Brain Cancer Research

Calvin passed away in August 2024. The loss of a son, brother, and friend in Calvin has been immeasurably difficult, but his legacy continues to inspire us. Through his vision of The Compound Gym, Calvin built a proud community dedicated to supporting one another — not only in fitness, but in facing life’s toughest challenges.

On Saturday 23rd August, we are hosting a 12-hour charity event (7am–7pm) in Calvin’s memory to raise vital funds for brain cancer research. Our goal: to collectively cover 12,700 km through running, cycling, rowing, skiing, or any other form of physical activity.

Why 12,700 km? Because each year in the UK, 12,700 people are diagnosed with a brain tumour. That number is more than a statistic — it represents lives changed forever, families impacted, and futures cut short.

Every kilometre we complete is for Calvin — and for the thousands of families facing this devastating journey today. Your support, whether through donations, participation, or spreading the word, means the world.

Together, we can make a difference.
