The "Jonathon H. Dias Legacy Scholarship" was created to offer students financial assistance for further education. This will be an annual scholarship granted to high school seniors. In honor of Jonathon, the high school that his children will attend will be the first beneficiary of the scholarship fund.

Major Jonathon Dias served his country as an honored leader in the United States Air Force 13 years. He was a father of 4 beautiful children and a husband to his lovely wife. Jonathon had a heart for his children and a continual love for learning. He had a passion for all things outdoors. His adventures included backpacking, hunting, fishing, snowboarding, water-skiing, ice baths and especially long runs.

The family of Jonathon Dias created this scholarship to be a physical reflection for his children of his love of learning. Jonathon lived life pursuing new relationships and new knowledge and would be honored to know he could help future students.
