Help Willow River LifeSmarts Compete at Nationals

Willow River Area School’s LifeSmarts team has earned their way to the National Competition in Orlando! Please help them out by donating toward their travel costs (flights, hotel, shuttle transfer.)
Established in 1994, LifeSmarts is a program of the National Consumers League, the nation’s pioneering consumer organization. LifeSmarts, the ultimate consumer challenge, is an educational opportunity for students in 9th-12th grade. This competition prepares students to enter the real world as smart adult consumers.
Students study in the following areas for competition: consumer rights, personal finance, health & safety, technology, and environment.
The girls have been working on many fundraising efforts at school and in the community. Thanks to our donors, we are working toward raising $1800 for the trip. (approx. $1700 has already been raised. Halfway there!)
This team of four sophomores is ready to proudly represent Willow River and the rest of the state of Minnesota!
