My name is Timko. I’m dealing with ongoing medical issues that have made it hard to keep up with the bills. For about four years, I’ve had occasional blackouts where I lose consciousness for around a minute and don’t remember anything before, during, or after. These episodes used to be rare, but lately they’ve become more frequent and severe—having two just four days apart and injuries from the falls recently became cause for concern. The first left me with a black eye and a burst blood vessel in said eye, and the most recent caused me to fall on my cat (she’s fine), but I ended up with scratches on my arm and cuts on my face that scarred. After each episode, I still feel off for a while.

Doctors are still trying to figure out if these are strokes or seizures, and whether the problem is with my heart or brain. I’ve had to go to a lot of appointments, and there are more procedures coming up. Tomorrow, I have to get a heart monitor. I’ll also need two MRIs—one for my brain and a specialized one for my heart, which means more tests and more bills. The costs are unpredictable, but even the co-pays for recent appointments have been a lot.

I can’t work right now because of my health, so I’m doing art commissions to try to make some money, but it’s not enough since art takes time to finish. Any support would help me cover these medical costs while I get answers. Thanks for reading.
