HELP THE REDWAN FAMILY SURVIVE IN GHAZA

Donation protected
Hello,

I’m Ezz, and I’m organising this fundraiser for my family, who are suffering through the genocide in Gaza.
This includes my four brothers and my sister, their partners, my 10 nieces and nephews, as well as my mother and father, who are all just trying to survive day to day.

I escaped Gaza five years ago, and now, I’m living in Germany.
From here, I’m doing what I can to support my family financially, but while my asylum application is still being processed, I’m only allowed to work part-time – currently coaching kids’ sports in a refugee centre.

It’s hard to describe how difficult it is to be away from my family at this time. I’m constantly thinking of them; what are they eating? Are they safe today?

Since our home in Gaza was bombed, my family have been displaced several more times and they are now living in a tent near the coast alongside about 200,000 other people.

We’ve lost so many loved ones - family members and friends.

And the ‘lucky’ ones that are still with us desperately need our help.

Famine has already set in across large parts of Gaza, with nearly half a million people experiencing catastrophic hunger and the rest facing emergency-level food insecurity.

Collecting the limited international aid is incredibly dangerous, with people killed daily at the GHF aid traps.
To secure food safely, it needs to come from the market but limited supply means prices are incredibly expensive.

A bag of flour is now 900% higher than normal, and you have to be lucky to find it.

For €200, my brother has just bought flour, oil, sugar and rice. Before the war, this list was €25.

And it’s the same for the medicine my father requires for a chronic illness affecting his blood cells.

The situation is beyond belief, but at some point, this genocide will end, and my family will try to rebuild their home and their lives.

In the meantime, I need to help them live from one day to the next and ideally, have some peace of mind about the weeks ahead.

Any donation is going to help my family, extended family, and our wider community, afford the simplest things; flour, water, sugar.

Please donate whatever you can, whether it’s €1 or €20—literally every single donation makes a difference.

Also, please organise against the continuation and normalisation of this genocide. Get involved, make your voice heard and hold your politicians accountable.

Thank you
