I’m Dr. Adrienne Redd, and I’m reaching out to rally support for The Bell Independence Project and the The Everywhere Project. We need to buy a vehicle for the SSP Farm. This incredible non-profit, born of serving students with learning differences and the need to teach practical and hands on skills is dedicated to helping young people and everyone help themselves by gaining practical knowledge and growing food.

Here’s a slide show https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1YgzhbsUdkGj87ewA_2pdgQ717AExTbPmd6uPhDlc8xw/edit?slide=id.p13#slide=id.p13 that shows what we do at the Schatz-St. Paul’s (SSP) Community Farm, where everyone takes part and EVERYONE in the community can pick food. We are asking for $10 or $20 or $100 from you to help buy a little beat-around truck or vehicle for the farm at 7827 Old York Road, next to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church of Elkins Park, whose congregation volunteer at the farm and in whose kitchen we add value to our gathered and harvested products, like pickled beets, fruit preserves and maple syrup. We are not a religious organization. We have participants from many institutions. However, we have certainly found that Jews, Muslim Black Lions, Quakers, Episcopalians, and many more have supported us.
