Help Skate Nosara become a reality for local kids

Skate Nosara is a nonprofit skateboarding park built off the main road at Escape Nosara. The land owner is donating its usage for a professionally built skatepark FREE for children of the Nosara region.  All we have to do is raise funds to make it. We have two professional skateboarders, Mackey Saturday and Mike Lopez, in charge of the build. We are utilizing New Line Skate parks, one of the best contractors in the US. We are also taking 10% or more of the funds to place concrete installations in Nosara town, Garza, Santa Marta and Esperanza for local children to have a closer place to practice. We have confirmation of contractors, architects, engineers working for their costs to stay within budget. Other local business owners have voiced their participation in donating local children's transportation to the skatepark. We have participants ready to donate 100's skateboards and protective gear.

 

Let's make this happen for the kids of the Nosara region. Keep in mind; there is NOWHERE to skateboard here.

 

Our total preliminary budget is ~$460,000.00 USD. Of the total, we are looking to raise $200,000.00 USD via this GoFundMe.

 

We have larger donors already committed for amounts of $50,000 each.
