Hi Friends and Family,
I’m incredibly excited to share that I’ve been selected to compete in a World Cup race in Mont-Sainte-Anne, Quebec, racing in the Junior Men’s category—a dream I’ve had ever since I started racing at 9 years old in the Kidsworx events. I’ve been passionate about biking since I was 3, when I first hopped on a pedal bike. Mountain biking has shaped who I am, and racing at a World Cup level has always been one of my biggest goals.
This opportunity means the world to me, but getting there comes with some big expenses that aren’t covered—flights, vehicle rental, bike transport, accommodation, and mechanical support during the race. Altogether, I estimate the total cost to be around $4,500.
To help with the costs, I have decided to do a pedal-a-thon on Sunday, September 21st from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm, where I will pedal as many laps as I can up ConNino, down lower Hillbilly. I’m asking my friends and family to pledge me per lap, or a lump sum amount for the whole 4- hour pedal. I’ll update my gofundme page after the pedal-a-thon so you can see how many laps I completed.
This trip wasn’t something my family budgeted for, especially since I didn’t expect such a successful season or to earn this amazing chance. That’s why I’m reaching out for your support—any contribution, big or small, would make a huge difference and help make this dream a reality.
Thank you so much for supporting me through my journey! Also, feel free to come peddle a lap or two with me to keep me company. Meet me anytime at or after 9:00 am at the bottom of Fox Mountain on Sunday, September 21st.
