To all our family, friends, and community; we have created this Go Fund Me for James (Jimmy) and Whitney Beaney.
Jimmy has been diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. He underwent radiation treatments and was hoping to start feeling more himself. Unfortunately, that hasn’t been the case. He continued to feel worse and ended up back in the hospital a week ago today. He had his appendix removed this past Sunday and then an exploratory surgery on Monday morning because they suspected a blockage. It’s possible that he may end up back in Albany where his Oncologist is.
Jimmy was working as a Job Coach at Citizen Advocates. With all that has been going on with his health, he hasn’t been able to work since August. Whitney works at the Lake Placid Christmas Company on Main St. Jimmy did apply for Disability but it has not been approved as of yet. Whitney has had to take time off and will most likely have to be away from work more and stay at a hotel if Jimmy is sent to Albany. She also does not drive and has to rely on family, friends, or Ubers to get to and from the hospital.
Any help you can give will be tremendously appreciated. All donations will be used for their monthly bills, hotel costs and any other needs that come their way from this nasty cancer.
