Hello, My name is Devin J. Ricks and I'm a Film Director from Baltimore, Maryland. I graduated from Morgan State University in 2013, and the journey has been quite the ride over the years. I've had some turbulent days going after this dream of mine, and luckily, by staying true to the course, I've had many successful moments. Over the years, on the film side of things, I've made a few motion pictures that I'm very proud of, and I'm ready to get back on set after 5 long years. Can I get your help to make that possible? I'd appreciate any amount you're able to give, and if you're unable to at the moment, if you could please share this campaign, my team and I would greatly appreciate it. I was personally able to save $10,000, so these extra funds/donations will help bring this picture to life. Entry Level: $30

You'll receive (2) movie premiere tickets for the Baltimore, Maryland screening once the movie is done with post production. Updates on when you can expect the premiere date will be sent via. email in 2026.

Bronze: $75

You'll receive the entry level prize as well as a signed copy of The Love Cycle Saga's third installment "Beautiful Mistake." The DVD comes with 2 discs, one featuring the full length movie and the other featuring BTS footage/commentary of the special days on set along with outtakes from the Director: Devin J. Ricks.

Silver: $250

You'll receive the entry level & bronze prizes as well as apparel from Devin J. Ricks' clothing line under The DJR Experience's "No More Apologies." A little back story, the line has been featured on the popular reality TV show, "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" as well worn by Beyonce's stylist & friend Ty Hunter during NY Fashion Week. When the campaign concludes, you'll be notified on a clothing size to be shipped out to you. You'll receive (1) pull over hoodie. Color options will be provided during the end of this campaign when retrieving shipping information. Shipping fees are included with the prize.

If you'd like to donate an extra $50 to this package (1) additional crew-neck "No More Apologies" T-shirt will be added to your prize.

Show Stopper: $600

You'll receive the entry level, bronze & silver prizes as well as (1) product placement to be featured in one scene during the film. The Director will ultimately decide where the product will be placed, but will be seen cinematically on camera. Details will be sent via. email once pre-production is completed.

INVESTOR STATUS!!!

Gold: $1,200

You'll receive the entry level, bronze, silver & show stopper prizes along with (1) producer credit to be featured during the credits for the movie project. This is an exciting opportunity for investors to be a part of the motion picture that will be featured on a major distribution platform. Those platforms can include Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime etc. You'll also receive (1) ticket to the private screening (cast & crew) of the film before the public premiere in 2026. Travel not included.

Platinum: $2,500

You'll receive the entry level, bronze, silver, show stopper & gold prizes as well as (1) executive producer credit. You'll also have the opportunity to be on set (select days) to watch the film process from start to finish. Days will be subjected to the Director's discretion and set days will be scheduled on your availability from the days listed. Only (2) days will be allotted to be on set for this prize. Details will be sent via. email once pre-production is completed. Travel not included.

Rockstar: $3,800

You'll receive the entry level, bronze, silver, show stopper, gold & platinum prizes as well as an opportunity to be featured in the project as an actor (speaking role) for one scene. At the Director's discretion, a featured role will be casted based upon talent and coaching from the director. Details will be sent via. email once pre-production is completed. Travel not included.

Thank you for taking the time to look over our campaign and backer/prize list. We'll be using the early summer to allocate funds (meet our goal) and in mid/late July begin our pre-production stage. That'll be the time funds will be needed so we can start assembling key components of our crew so we can be on set late 2025/early 2026. Filming will be done on the east coast in the surrounding areas of Baltimore, Maryland.
