Help Beloved Rapture Exhibit at PAX East 2025

Hi everyone,

Aaron here.

As some of you know, I spent the last several years pouring my bleeding heart into my first indie game, Beloved Rapture —a deeply personal story/project I first imagined as a teenager. A while after college took me on a different path, I returned to it with a fresh purpose, investing my savings to make it stand out as a viable commercial product, and hire others to help me.

I was deeply inspired by the classic games of the early 90s (notably pixel art games), fantasy stories, anime, and the profound impact that some retro RPGs had on me.

When I finally released the game in October 2024, it was both cathartic and surreal. It had been an uphill battle to even get it made and carry it over the finish line. The fact that people enjoyed it... even nominated it for 'Best Indie Game of the Year ' legitimately shocked me, and it was deeply moving and validating. It gave me the courage to fully pursue indie game development as my future career.

Now I have a chance to showcase the game at PAX East 2025—right here in my home-state city of Boston! It's a profound opportunity to network, gain visibility, meet console publishers, and share the game with thousands of new players.

The only downside is that it's an insane spectacle of an expo hall, and it can be costly more than I first imagined!

And due to sudden changes, some funds I thought were secured for the event the are no longer available in time for the due date. That leaves me to pay for essentially everything extra...
