Fundraiser for Karen Haramis and Katie Enequist
Donation protected
We are raising money to help this amazing Grandmother and Granddaughter.
Karen (Nana) has been diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's disease (ALS) in October 2019. The family is going to need all the help they can get to help facilitate Nana in the future. (Wheelchair accessible vehicle, electric wheel chair, ramps for the house, and plenty of other medical apparatus to help with her everyday life)
Katie (Nana's Granddaughter) has had a very tough go at life but she takes it in stride and is the strongest young woman you would ever meet. Katie suffers from various illnesses that doctors have never actually been able to diagnose completely since her birth. Katie has defied all odds the doctors have given her and continues to do so somehow keeping a smile on her face. She will be turning 18 next month (November 2020).
Katie and Nana despite everything they have gone and are going through remain in excellent spirits with a positive outlook on life. Both Nana and Katie are in need of various medical apparatus ASAP that sadly the family will not be able to afford on there own.
Karen and her husband were living in America where her husband worked full time. He choose to take an early retirement so that the two of them could move back to Canada and be with family, thus making it much harder for them financially in this time of need.
These two families greatly appreciate anything you have to offer be it a cash donation, a prayer or positive thoughts. If you have any advice that would help us to obtain any of the medical devices they may need or if you have ever been in a similar situation and have any medical apparatus or household tools to donate would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for taking the time to read,
