Adrian O’Grady was many things to many people. He was a father, husband, son, brother, friend, colleague, mentor, leader, psychotherapist, visionary, hugger, messer and all round good guy.
He made time for all and was always at the end of the phone for those who needed help. He did this with discretion, integrity and compassion. If you speak to those he helped, they say he literally saved their lives.
Ireland’s Emergency services were fortunate to experience his brilliance and we all benefited from his kindness, knowledge and expertise. Adrian was internationally recognised as a leader in the fields of CISM, EMDR and Complicated grief therapy.
Adrian selflessly took care of everyone who needed help, but the pressure meant that he often didn’t get time to look after himself.
Adrian’s premature death prevented him from fulfilling plans for his family’s future. We were Adrian’s extended family and would like to help support his wife and children with their future.
If you think you can help a little, we invite you to give whatever amount you can afford here. Adrian’s priority was his family. In his absence, we would like to do whatever we can to make things a little easier and provide some security for them.
Please share this far and wide with anyone you think may help!
Keep an eye on this page as we hope to run an event to help with this early 2020…
Many thanks for your support!
