Elisha’s Recovery

My mom, Elisha, was involved in a car accident on Saturday morning. She was admitted to Mercy hospital shortly after. She sustained an injury to her head- diffuse axonal injury (DAI) & a fractured lumbar vertebrae, also sustained trauma to her neck and both carotid arteries. She has been sedated since the accident and is recovering in the ICU.

Elisha does NOT have medical insurance coverage and this will be a huge portion of our concerns moving forward. I am starting this in hopes to relieve some pressure off of the family and for Elisha as well, for when she is awake. 

I will try to update when we know more but only time will tell. ❤️
She is a fighter and she’s fighting!

We are gathering outside of Mercy in Coon Rapids at the main entrance at 12pm daily to pray. Please join us in prayer for her. These next few days are critical but we have hope and faith!

EDIT- 6/22 they have started to wean her off of medication as of last night. They will start tube feedings today.
