Most of you have read that my brother passed away Friday, March 24. He had a serious fight with pancreatic cancer. My brother was a 20 year Airforce veteran and a 10 year civil servant. I am so sad to say that even with burial at a National Cemetery, there is a large cost to bury him from the funeral home. His military retirement did not allow him to afford much more than basic needs. My sister-in-law has been a house wife for their entire 51 years of marriage. They don’t have additional money to afford the minimum $4932 for the service. We’ve set up this fund because the Funeral home would not commit to a detailed accounting of who donated what. We want to be transparent.
