Coolagolite community fire recovery fund
This New Year’s Eve fires ripped through rural farming of the NSW south coast. I was staying at my fathers property when fire came over the hill from Cobargo and devastated the small community of Coolagolite. I stayed along with my father and his brother in-law to fight the fire and ultimately safe his house. This was not the lucky case for many others. There was several houses lost on Coolagolite road, countless livestock lost and loss of loved ones. This fire has ripped through this community and absolutely decimated it, farmers have lost all grazing land alone with any hay they had sitting is sheds, they have lost live stock they have lost their livelihoods. Many of the families on Coolagolite road were already struggling due the the continuous years of drought and many were under or not insured.
I am hoping to raise funds to be given to the families and farmers in need in Coolagolite. Money can not repair the pain but I am hoping it can help reduce some of the stress for this amazing community.

He has had to euthanise much of his herd, he lost all of the grazing ground for them and tens of thousands of dollars for hay and hard feed.
