Inspired by Cesar Chavez's quote: "the people who give you their food give you their heart", we've launched Our Table so anyone can provide basic groceries to the people who need it most and need it now.
In Lawrence we are working with a wonderful volunteer, who is well known in the community, to identify families in dire need. She works with a local market to fill grocery bags and then delivers them to people's homes. Cost of one week of groceries/person is $23.
In East Boston we teamed up with Eastie Farm, a well known community non-profit and a member of the Mutual Aid Eastie Fund. This week they are working with Christopher's Cafe in Lynn to cook and deliver prepared meals to 162 families in East Boston. Cost per meal is $5/6.
100% of your donation goes to food/essentials for people, there are no admin costs, we are all volunteers.
