Hi, the congregation at our church are hoping to raise vital funds for Christ Church in Ashton-under-Lyne. If we are not able to raise money to cover our monthly shortfall or reduce our outgoings then the church will have no choice but to close within the next few years. One way to help reduce outgoings and cover the remaining shortfall would be to invest in our energy provision. Despite being eligible for grants and being able to apply for funding we would still need to put up 50% of the cost to move forward with any plans. We desperately need your help!

The church offers an important space for many of the community including those who worship at our Sunday service, those who use the church to gather as part of their AA, NA or CA meetings, children who come together for messy play and Sunday school as well as many families who worship each Wednesday as part of their church attendance points to gain admission into Canon Burrows C of E Primary School, Canon Johnson C of E Primary School and The Blue Coat School secondary school.
