If home was a person it was Branden. His energy, charm, cheeky wit, intelligence and kindness fill your cup when you are around him. His friendship was something so special and valuable to me and many others. The whole Vadnais/Mahaffey family are a loving group and generously welcome others into their lives and homes. Its hearbreaking to know his girls will continue to grow without him.

 

Branden and I lived on Madison Street and spent our childhood growing together. I first met Branden in Kindergarten when I got into Papa's van while I was walking to school in the rain with my dad. I have so many more memories riding bikes to the park or the Coon Rapids Dam & Blaine Dairy, swimming, watching papa and DJ work on the car, playing kick the can in the cul-de-sac, doing homework together, watching movies, and going to Cheap Skate on Friday nights.
