Brady Adams Hodgkins Lymphoma

Brady is a vibrant, loving, active, typical 7yr old boy, and he is loved by so many. On a Spring Break trip, Jason and Courtney Adams we’re alerted by their son Brady, age 7, that he had a small bump on his hip that was about the size of a golf ball. It didn’t hurt, but there was a slight bruise and discoloration which was suspicious to say the least. They went to see the doctor the next week and the testing began immediately. After several rounds of bloodwork, Brady had surgery to remove the lump for biopsy at Cook’s Children’s Hospital in Fort Worth for a suspected lymphoma mass in his groin. On June 4, 2020, their world changed forever. Brady had been diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. They were thrust into a world of unknowns. The chemo treatments, medicines, special diet, and vitamins began almost immediately. He has several lymph nodes that are cancerous, but the doctors are confident the chemo will be effective. There is a high success rate with this protocol. He will be shuffling back and forth to Cook’s Children’s where he will continue treatments at Cook’s for the next two to three years. What are their needs? Jason and Courtney will most of all need your love, prayers, and emotional support. But also your financial donations if you can help to fill in the gaps that insurance will not cover. They will have expenses related to hospitals, medicines, ongoing chemo treatments, and especially keeping their home a healthy, sterile, and clean space (air filters, masks for visitors, etc.). Anything you can contribute is welcomed, big or small. We all know how much Jason and Courtney have contributed to the joy and happiness of so many of us, and they could use our support at this difficult time. We do know is God is good and He is with us every step of the way. We are so grateful for each of you!
