Boosting Ni-Vanuatu vaccination rates

We are group of business owners in Vanuatu targeting low Covid19 vaccination areas by hosting a vaccination party in their local area. At these parties we are providing free food (kaikai) for all that get a vaccination. Many local businesses have donated vouchers, cash, their time and prizes to incentivise people to get the jab.

 

Our borders have been closed since March 2020 which has devastated businesses, the economy and the Ni-Vanuatu people as many have lost their jobs or are working dramatically reduced hours. We are heavily reliant on tourism, so most tourism businesses have been closed or running very reduced hours.

We have been fortunate enough to not have been exposed to Covid19 here, but we need to re-open our borders so businesses and staff can get back to "normal". We need to achieve 80% of the population being double vaccinated for this to happen.

 

We would really appreciated it if we could get enough funds together to run these vaccination parties country-wide and get the population vaccinated so we can open up again and ensure the health and safety of our people. Getting to 80% vaccinated will also mean you get to come and visit us again too, WIN WIN!!
