To get Betty her Cataracs operation

Hi my name is Mike and i am the proud owner of little Betty a jack russell cross breed (jug) she suffers from Diabetes, and therefore has developed Cararacs in both eyes after getting her accessed at an animal hospital because her sight was decreasing quite quickly, shes gone from being an adventurous lively dog to being quite nervous when out for walks. no longer can i let her off the lead in wooded areas that she loved to investigate, she cant see much until its fairly close and sometimes she will flinch nervously, its pitiful to see her like this and at the age of 10 she still has alot of life left. i survive on a state pension and a small private pension so the cost of 6k for the operation its out of my reach,although she is insured it dose'nt cover the operation,plus i claim for her insulin every month because its expensive, i have no other way of raising this sort of cost and i just cant watch her keep bumping into things when out, shes ok when theres nothing close to her but as you can imagine dogs like to rumage around and im always fearful she will injure herself
