Thieves steal vital minibus from Southwood Primary School

Thieves have broken into the car park of Southwood Primary School on 17 November and stolen our treasured minibus.

Although the minibus was later found, it had been stripped of its engine, doors and seats before being dumped miles away in Tilbury.

Southwood Primary School is based in the heart of Dagenham and its 600 pupils are now missing out on educational trips, days out and sporting activities.

The school has launched a fundraising campaign after news that the insurance pay out will not cover the costs of a replacement vehicle.

Scott Halliwell ( Headteacher ) said: “For people to support us in this and help us get back up and running, literally, would mean the world to us.”
