My name is Angie and I'm fundraising for my brother Kirk, whose business was unfortunately affected by a fire caused by an adjacent construction site in Bedstuy, Brooklyn on Jan 24th, 2025.
Kirk started his business only six months ago and was doing extremely well in this short amount of time. He has dedicated himself to doing everything he can to fulfill this lifelong dream of having his own business as a young, black entrepreneur.
- Captain Kirk's is a comedy lounge serving great laughs, live entertainment, and one-of-a- kind cocktails including his specialty Rum Punch. Kirk is not only hard working, but he is one of the kindest, selfless people you could ever know. As you can imagine, fire loss is very hard to recover from but NOT IMPOSSIBLE! Your donations will help him rebuild his business and restore his confidence. Most importantly, he will get to see others enjoy themselves once again and that is what makes him happy. His motto is, Live, Love, Laugh and that's what we want to help him to do!
