Our beloved Dr. Ali Shirkhoda was a giant among us who existed with the fullest dedication to changing lives and will be missed indescribably. He passed from this world, leaving behind an unparalleled legacy – one we will remember for lifetimes. His family has created this memorial charitable fund in Ali's honor to do justice to his commitment and passion for serving his community.

As a world-renowned Radiologist, he left an imprint on countless lives. He cherished being a mentor and educator, publishing over one hundred scientific articles, writing multiple radiology textbooks and his memoir (Unfolding Destiny), and giving over three hundred international lectures. He was honored with the Teacher of the Year Award, an international Society of Radiology gold medal, and the Society of Abdominal Radiology Lifetime Achievement Award.
Ali will always be remembered as a dedicated husband, father, son, brother, friend, and doctor. We often think of his beaming smile, loving soul, and curiosity for the world. Ali made the best Sunday morning omelet, snuck up to tickle us for a laugh, and cherished celebrating his daughters' milestones. As his family, we are indebted to him for filling our lives with joy and memories forever etched into our hearts – it was a true privilege to be in his orbit.
