Haircuts for A Cause
We live at The Hillcrest of Loveland, a home for seniors, and some of us haven't had a haircut since last Sept. It started as a COVID defensive measure, i.e. avoid crowds. Just before Christmas we thought we might have some fun and raise some money for charity. We chose the Larimer County Food Bank. Since we have all been vaccinated it looks like we'll finally get our hair cuts on March 19. The Resident Council is sponsoring the event and has invited the residents to cut our hair. For a donation of $1.00 you may have one snip with a scissors. Or for $3.00 you may have one swipe with a clippers. Of course I like leave an inch on the top, taper the sides, and block the back. Both the Hilcrest of Loveland and BAYADA will participate and ensure we get the best possible haircut.
I'm looking forward to the haircut, some fun with the residents and raising some money for the food bank.
