Tampa Neurology Residents Fellows Graduation 2020

Dear Neurology Faculty,
Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, we have transitioned all graduation ceremonies from in-person to "virtual" celebrations. Although this is uncharted territory, we are determined to mark this important milestone in a meaningful and memorable way. As such, we will be holding this year's Residency and Fellowship Graduation via Microsoft Teams on Saturday June 13, 2020 from 6:30-8:30 PM. A more formal invitation will be forthcoming. The format will be very similar to years past in that there will be an attending-written, good-natured roast of the graduating residents as well as an opportunity for faculty, residents and staff to express their sentiments regarding their experiences at USF and this momentous achievement. In lieu of our normal sit-down dinner, we will be providing meals and beverages to the graduates and their significant others via Uber Eats as well as small gifts to remember us by.
Unfortunately, given the current financial constraints on the University and Practice Plan, no funding can be provided by or through the University for graduation celebrations this year. We are therefore asking for voluntary faculty donations to support this year’s Resident and Fellow Graduation. I have set up a Go Fund Me page under the name "Tampa Neurology Resident Fellow Graduation 2020" with the goal of raising $1,600 to cover our projected costs. All money raised will go towards graduation expenses and helping us to make this as memorable an experience for our graduates as possible.
The suggested donation is $25-$50 (or more ) but anything you can give is greatly appreciated.
