On January 29th, while Falmouth was experiencing a fierce blizzard and extensive power outages, the Malloy family was at home together when one family member who was shoveling snow outside noticed smoke and flames coming from a crawl space. Fortunately all family members and pets were able to get out of the house just in time. Within minutes the fire had engulfed the house as the family watched from across the street, safe but helpless as their home and all of their belongings burned.

 

The family is lucky to have the kindness of neighbors and friends, but they still face the painful task of rebuilding a home and recovering from this terrible loss. So many have reached out with offers of support, and this fundraiser is to help the Malloy family begin to overcome this tragic setback. All contributions will go directly to the family to help them with basic needs and temporary housing while they begin to move on from this painful loss.
