Francis Nobleza Memorial Fund

I am writing this on behalf of myself, my brother TJ, and my sister Charlene.

Our Dad, Francis Nobleza, or Frank as he was known to his loved ones, was always well known for his corny jokes. Sometimes we would roll our eyes but laugh inwardly at them. He also had a love for the performing arts and would grace us with his music and singing every so often. He was a great provider, a wonderful husband, and the best Dad in the world.

In March 2016, he was diagnosed with Lung Cancer.  The diagnosis was devastating and a shock to all of us. A few short weeks later, we found out that the cancer had spread to his brain, making this a stage 4 cancer. He underwent brain surgery and 5 cycles of radiation on his brain and was able to recover slightly, yet the growth of his brain tumors were rapid thereafter. We stayed by his bedside day and night as he was fighting for his life. No longer able to come home, hospital beds were now his norm. Despite all of this, our dad remained extremely cheerful. His biggest concern and worry was our mom. Imagine that - he was as sick as can be and all he could think about was our mom, the love of his life. Words cannot describe the joy in his eyes each time she came in his room to visit, always giving her the biggest hug that he could muster. His love for her was true and unselfish. Our dad fought day and night for the sake of his family. Just recently, our Dad accepted the Lord and the joy we felt was indescribable because we knew that when the time came, he would be ushered into heaven. But despite his bravery and perseverance, only 3 short months after his initial diagnosis, he peacefully passed away on June 27, 2016 at the age of 69, surrounded by people he loved the most.

We ask that in lieu of flowers and gifts, that you consider donating to contribute to expenses and daily incidentals so that our mom need not worry about these things and allow her to grieve and mourn her best friend and husband. If prayers are all you can give, we are absolutely grateful for those as well. Please do not feel obligated but if in prayer, you are able to, then we are eternally grateful for your generosity.

His legacy and memorial is carried on through his wife, Marilu, three children, Christine, TJ and Charlene and four young grandchildren, Jordan, Kaylee, Isaac and Lily.

Let us all celebrate and honor Francis and his journey with his Creator.
