3D Printing PPE To Help NHS Workers

Donation protected
I’m 21 years old and currently in isolation for 12 weeks as I have Cystic Fibrosis and, as an actor, there is clearly not a lot going on right now. I started thinking about how I can help from my own home, and give back to the Drs and Nurses that I have relied upon my entire life. I therefore decided to start 3D printing PPE face shields to send out to NHS staff free of charge. Since I started it has started to snowball, and to keep this cost free for the staff, I have started this Go Fund Me page to cover the materials and postage. Since starting this GoFundMe page I’ve been joined by Cam a friend in the CF community he like me is shielding at home and wanted to get involved to give back to the NHS who he has also heavily relied on his whole life. I think there have been times when he could have happily thrown his printer out the window (they can be tricky to get started on) but he now has his printer going well and is churning out out headbands 24/7 between us once the new printer arrives we will be printing over 100 a day! Any donations will be greatly appreciated and all go towards making and posting these face shields to the frontline. Any money above and beyond what is required will be donated to the NHS when we are out the other side of this.
