Bonjour!!!! Je m'appelle (my name is) LaDarion Howard, and I am currently a French 2 student in the small town of Greenville, Mississippi. I am a part of Greenville Goes Global (GGG), an organization which aims to increase international travel for exceptional Greenvile Public School students. I was accepted to attend GGG's trip to France, England, and Italy in March 2015.
In order to participate, I need to contribute $1000. Mais, il y a un problème (but there is a problem)!!! I cannot afford the trip. My family has just moved into a new apartment and we struggle to pay rent, let alone eat. :( I am a hard-working student who has never left this town nor broadened my horizons. I am currently taking Advanced Placement classes and I am in the 11th grade. This trip will not only really mean a lot to as me a student, but also as an artist. France has one of the richest cultures when it comes to art, and exploring different styles will better me as an artist.
I really hope that people who read this will at least donate $1. If 1,000 people see my message and each individual decides to donate $1, then I will have the $1,000 I need to participate. :D To all of you great people who decide to donate, I promise that I will be forever grateful for your generosity.
