Phelan Fundraiser

Steve and Karen Phelan were married a little under four months ago, they are blended parents to three wonderful boys, whom they have joint custody. In the past year Steve's health has quickly declined. Due to diabetes he has had three surgeries, one being a toe amputation, two months before the wedding; the most recent one being today. The surgeon was able to keep his foot, but there is still a possibility of amputation above the ankle. He will go back into the OR in two days, to know more. The surgeon has said he will be out of work indefinitely, and is referring him to an Endocrinologist in Charlotte, NC. Best case scenerio will be home health to manage his PICC line and wound vac. Steve carrries the familys insurance and child support for the two youngest boys.A disability claim has been started with no answer in the foreseeable future. I know that there will be a financial need with the medical and utility bills as well as the holidays quickly approaching. Any help is appreciated and prayers are always welcome!
