My Dream Job Opportunity
I grew up in a car culture. Old school mechanics essentially raised me. I managed to find a job as a mechanic back in detroit and for 2 years I was extremely happy. Unfortunately, the situation at the time forced me to leave my job to deal with personal issues.
Fast forward 15 years.
I have been hired into the position of mechanic at a Ford dealership. I was raised in a Ford Family, I've always loved Ford and admired their engineering. (even asked them for autographs from their engineering team) I convinced them to hire me based on my skill and drive, overcoming the requirement for tools at the time.
Starting over in the automotive industry is hard, but for me, its worth it. Ive been dedicated to the automotive industry ever since I was able to hold a wrench. Some of you know me well enough to know that I not only obsess over cars, I obsess over the engineering, the design of the engines and ellectronics, the features, how they work.
This job fulfills a passion. This opportunity is something I have dreamed of. I have a huge history of automotive repair and diagnosis. Every day I bust my tail at work. My higher ups are very impressed by my dedication.
What I need to keep this job and move up, is tools. Tools for a mechanic are very epensive. I've searched around. A decent used set and box will run about 3-4k. This does not include air tools, electronic equipment, specialized sets etc. which is where the rest of the money will go. Right now I am borrowing tools from around the shop, and that is not going to last long
Please help me. This is a once in a lifetime chance for me.
As a thank you to the community, I will also use these tools to offer repairs to those who generally cant afford to pay for a mechanic. (Thanks Thrash for reminding me)
I cant really offer any other perks or prizes, only tears of joy and my eternal gratitude.
Thank you and PLEASE share this around everywhere you can.
