(Working title) - Expedition Philippines is a wildernes expedition based adventure TV show. This show follows Colonel "Tomahawk" with a Native guide and a different companion in each episode as They will travel throughout the Philippines. They will meet Several different indigenous tribes and will demonstrate how to cope with the dangers of wilderness travel. Tomahawk and friends will also learn jungle and sea survival skills from the indigenous tribes they meet. The show will be skills oriented, but also expose the cast members to the many dangers and the stress involved with wilderness travel. This show is a high stakes Adventure series Not a survial show. However we will practice on a daily basis the various survival skills learned from the indigenous tribes we meet. Cast members will face many dangers in the form of animals, storms, natural obstacles, poisonous plants, and the daily stresses of a total wilderness immersion expedition. The wilderness skills, mental toughness and self disipline of Tomahawk and his friends will be severely tested. Cast members will have to face the dangers and deal with the stresses of each new challenge in this high stakes adventure TV show.

The 1st series will have 7 episodes ( possibly an 8th )

1.Jungle living skills with the Aeta (Culture/Adventure)

2. All Female jungle survival adventure starring Manu Toigo from the Discovery channel show "Naked and Afraid" and Local lady giudes.

3. Knife fighting and blade culture starring Snake Blocker and local Filipino knife fighter Alfred Sese.

4.Climb Mount Pulag the 2nd highest mountain in the Philippines (Adventure) - A two part show.

5.Exploring the jungle and learning medicinal plant lore with the Batak of Palawan (Cultural/Adventure).

6.Jungle Expedition with the Aeta (wilderness/Cultural /Adventure).

7.Sailing and travel in an open filipino Banca outrigger canoe. (Sailing/Adventure)

The Cast for  Expedition Philippines will be;

Colonel Tom Moore - Former co-host, season 1 of the Discovery channel show "Dude you're screwed". Maine and Montana wilderness guide, Explorer, Author, professional adventurer, Global survival practitioner and U.S. Army veteran

Manu Toigo - Adventurer and star of the popular Discovery channel show "Naked and Afraid"

Snake Blocker - Star of episode 1 season 1 "Deadliest warrior" - Apache vs Gladiator.  World champion knife fighter, martial artist and member of the Lipan Apache tribe

Alfred Sese, Knife fighter and expert in Filipino blade culture

Jing Lavilles de Egurrola - Jungle survival instructor, Bushcraft practitioner, and skilled Mountain guide

Will Rhys Davies - AKA "Jungle Wil", Skilled survival practitioner, mountain climber, Adventurer and UK Military veteran

Sean Kendrigan - River raft guide, adventurer, wilderness medic, and Mountaineering guide

 Expedition Philippines
will be working closely with the Aeta Negrito people of Luzon, and possibly the Batak People of Palawan. 

Thirsty Steer Productions (TSP) will be filming the series and the Jungle living and survival skills of the Aeta and other native peoples of the Philippines. This expedition will be a total jungle immersion trek. We will spend 3 to 4 weeks deep in the jungle. The Aeta are thought to be the oldest indiginous people in the philippines. Thus far their culture and wilderness skills have never been filmed or cataloged in detail.

We will also travel to Palawan to work with the indiginious Batak people, and back to Luzon to climb Mt. pulag which is the 2nd highest peak in the Philippines, With an elevation of 2,922 m (9,587 ft).


Expedition Philippines will be employing Aeta and Batak Survival instructors and guides to lead the expedition through the forest. We will be filming and recording such skills a shelter making, Locating water using plants or ground water. Fire making by the bamboo fire saw method - a style unique to the Aeta. And locating local foods found in the jungle. Things like monitor lizard, wild pig, deer, monkeys, and several species of bats.

The $15,000.00 Funding will be used for Airline tickets, and Visa extentions for non Filipino team members. Expedition Food,and Medical supplies. Local Transportation in the form of Trucks and Boats. Wages for the Aeta guides, baggage porters or "Sherpas", and the local Fixers. Expedition Philippines will also be purchasing a toughbook laptop computer, "tough" external hard drives, Solar rechargers and 2 additional Go-pro cameras and quality jungle equipment for the Aeta and Batak guides.

The leader of Expedition Philippines - will be my self (Colonel Tom Moore). Co- leader will be Jing Lavilles de Egurrola of Camp red in Cebu.The Expedition safety officer and team Medic will be Jonathan Linville. Our Expedition Doctor is Arvin Sese. Dr. Sese has worked with the Aeta many times and has a good rapport with the tribal leaders. Sean Kendrigan from New Hampshire computer specialists has agreed to be the Expedition IT professional. Sean brings a wealth of wilderness and technical skill and knowledge to the team. In addition, we have local "Fixers" in Cebu and Pampanga on board to supply logistical support and assist in transportation and to help organize the expedition etc.

The Aeta guides will be Tata Kasoy, Antonio Kasoy, Miguel, Danny, Loreto, and many of the younger tribal members who would like to get involved with this project.

Thirsty Steer Productions has been working in the TV and film industry since 1980. Providing behind the scenes support and tecnical advice in Wilderness Survival and security, for a variety of Reality TV productions in the Philippines, Maine, Arizona, Colorado, Florida and New Mexico. Colonel Tom Moore was also co-host of the popular Survival reality show "Dude you're screwed" or "Survive this" outside the USA.

Colonel Tom Moore - Expedition leader - is a 16 year veteran of U.S. Army combat arms, He is Airborne, Infantry, Pathfinder, Parachute rigger and French Commando qualified. Tom has spent 7 years as a private military contractor in the Middle East, Kosovo, Africa, Afghanistan and the Philippines. In addition, Tom has spent a lifetime exploring the world learning survival and outdoor living skills such as blacksmithing and tool making from indiginous peoples. His most recent expedition was to the Amazon river where he lived with the local tribes to learn Survival skills of the Amazon jungle.

Expedition Co-leader is Jing Lavilles de Egurrola, "Jing is The founder of Camp Red' a Filipino bushcraft organization based in Cebu. Jing has taught many people about wilderness survival and self-reliance skills. He is a former intelligence operative during his years with the police force and has been trained by the Israelis in close quarters combat.Jing also possesses valuable local knowledge, and will be instrimental in selecting additional team members, and the expedition security detail. In addition Jing is a skilled mountain guide, and every day survival practitioner.
