Every Girl Counts

My name is Joeisha Blackwell I am a resident of Sacramento that has recently decided to start a dance group for age 5-17 we are called Every Girl Counts. As you may know there is a vast range of forgotten about girls that has little to know outlet or support to encourage them to do better and be better than society has created an image and expectation. In the time the girls are at dance practice we touch bases on education, self-esteem and of course self-expression through dance. We as a team has recently competed in Las Vegas, performed a numerous places locally and in the near future will be competing in Los Angeles. As you can image this can become very costly as our name states Every Girl Counts and we do not want anybody left behind. I am reaching out to the community with the hopes of seeking funding that will go toward uniforms for competition, travel fee as well as payment towards a safe place for the girls to practice in no amount is to small and every donation is greatly appreciated.
